A Special Volunteer Story

At our Charlotte Cares distribution event on December 4, made possible by Publix Charities and other sponsors, we met Jeremiah who was volunteering and serving with us. Jeremiah knows the importance of shoes. He told us that when he was younger, he had to wear his sister's shoes to play basketball and that he would slide all over the court. Now he’s giving back. He was helping distribute athletic shoes to families in need and he has an athletic ministry in Denver. Check out the video below to hear why he volunteered and what it can mean for others:
