A Moment to Smile in Chicago

We wanted to share one very special story from a recent distribution at an elementary school in the Chicago, IL area: One student there, a young girl, has been in the foster care system her entire life. She just started attending this specific elementary school about six weeks prior to the shoe distribution. Once she got her new shoes, the teachers and principal said they had never seen her smile so big in the entire time they have had her at that school. We are so grateful at Samaritan’s Feet for opportunities like this that allow for moments of joy. Check out a few photos of other students from that event below:
