Boosting Confidence and Comfort in Missouri
All students at Eugene Field Elementary in Hannibal, Missouri, were gifted new shoes as part of a special shoe distribution. Organized alongside the Titanic Museum Attraction in Branson, Missouri, honored the memory of the 200 children aboard the Titanic. Each student received shoes and socks in a "Hope Tote," a gesture aimed at boosting their confidence and comfort. Jamie Terrell of the Titanic Museum highlighted the goal of delivering over 10,000 pairs of shoes across the country, with future stops in the Ozarks and Tennessee. Terrell added, "Everybody remembers getting a new pair of shoes for school and how important that is, so if we can do a little tiny part to help them feel better about their day and go through their school day feeling better about themselves then we're going to do that.”
