MLK Day of Service

AmeriCorps describes the MLK holiday as a day “designated as a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.” As a partner of AmeriCorps, Samaritan’s Feet loves hosting volunteer opportunities around the MLK holiday and surrounding weeks. Check out a few pics of volunteers serving in honor of that holiday in Tampa, FL, Columbus, OH, and Houston, TX at shoe distributions and in Charlotte, NC in the warehouse! From sorting and preparing shoes for shipment to then distributing the shoes, these volunteers made it happen.
