On the Streets of Chicago

In the heart of winter, a small team of volunteers took to the streets of Chicago, IL to hand out new winter boots. These sturdy new shoes would be given to men experiencing homelessness in the city. The team was able to fit each individual for their new boots along with giving them socks, lunch, toiletries, gloves, and scarves. Many of the men who were served were wearing the athletic shoes they had been given during the summer months, showing the importance of this item to these kind men. The volunteers had an incredible time showing compassion to this group and restoring dignity.
