Share a little bit about your role and responsibilities at Samaritan’s Feet.
I am the Transportation Manager so I am responsible for all domestic and international shipping and receiving. That means I help get the shoe shipments to domestic distributions and containers of shoes to international partners.
What does a typical day at work look like for you?
I spend time talking to different freight carriers to coordinate pickups and deliveries, along with tracking shipments and deliveries to ensure they are in the right place at the right time.
What's your favorite part about working at Samaritan’s Feet?
I love that I am part of a team that is able to send shoes all over the globe. Through that, I get to interact with a lot of different people and I enjoy that, too.
What are all the different places you've served with Samaritan’s Feet?
I have been on a mission trip to Greece three times, one mission trip to Honduras, and one mission trip to West Virginia. I’ve also served and led at distributions in Ohio, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

A few years ago, I was able to lead a distribution in Ohio. It was a small one, so I really got to interact with the shoe recipients and the volunteers.

Just recently, I was able to travel to Western Kentucky to help serve families who were impacted by the tornadoes, and really lost everything in their homes. It was a really moving experience for me.
