Special Thank You from Alaska
We sent a mission team to Alaska earlier this year and received such a sweet note from a family who was unexpectedly served there. Check out the note they sent:
We met some of you in Nikiski, Alaska tonight. We were passing by “One compass” when my 3 “tweens” saw the bounce house and asked to go.
As we met the group, we were quickly swept inside and offered/fitted with shoes. What an unexpected and thrilling blessing!
My tweens are the youngest of 8 and the only ones left at home now. Husband and I are very early 70’s and adopted our 3 girls from foster care beginning spring of 2013.
Our girls were traumatized as infants/toddlers and now bear the burden of overcoming what they’ll never understand because it’s impossible to.
Being treated like little queens was such a great treat and blessing. Even I was encouraged to accept a pair! They fit right instead of tight like all my other shoes!
May you all be richly blessed. Bless you for supporting your own missions for us. 3 of my older children also supported their own missions from 10 weeks to 2 years. I know the Lord rewards you generously.
Thank you for your loving kindness. I hope you are able to enjoy Alaska!
