A Principal’s Thank You

Samaritan’s Feet did a shoe distribution at a school’s open house in Wilmington, NC. It was an amazing way to gather the students the day before school started to ensure they were ready to learn. The principal said it was one of the best turnouts they’ve ever had. See what he said that means for the students there:

“I can't express my appreciation enough to the efforts of this group. Our number one problem is school attendance, especially for the first three weeks of school, as we start earlier than traditional calendar schools. We had the biggest turnout anyone can remember, and that means more of our children are going to be ready to start tomorrow! I received so many compliments on the event and the turnout, even though it stormed for half the Open House…Again, I am thankful, grateful and appreciative of our event.”
