Serving with Salvation Army in Charlotte

Samaritan’s Feet partnered with the Salvation Army - Center of Hope to serve the women and children who reside in their facilities. It was a beautiful time of tears, smiles, and joy as they mothers and children had their feet washed and then received a new pair of comfortable shoes.

Brent from Salvation Army of greater Charlotte had this to say about the day’s event:

“Just observing and walking around and seeing the smiles on people’s faces, and the tears being shed…it really means a lot. It shows that people care. When you’re going through some of the most difficult days of your life, just knowing that there’s an army of support behind you, of people who are praying for you, people stooping down to wash your feet, that’s a really moving experience. You can see that on the faces of everyone who has attended today.”
