Truist Serves in Charlotte

Truist Bank remains committed to our community by serving and ensuring a better experience for those within our community. On Thursday, June 9th, 161 volunteers from Truist teamed up with Samaritan’s Feet at our international headquarters to help process shoes and assemble hope totes that are being distributed nationwide for those in need.

Truist volunteers overcame the heat to show off their amazing teambuilding skills. One of the volunteers, Bryant Dozier, had this to say on his experience with Samaritan’s Feet: “I really enjoyed volunteering with fellow Truist teammates at Samaritans Feet! As a Workplace Philanthropy manager at Truist I dreamed of days when Truist teammates would have the opportunity to come together to support our local community in some way. The staff at Samaritans Feet was amazing and made the day fun for everyone while we did work.”

Trust has sponsored many distributions with us before but this was their first time coming into the warehouse. The volunteers worked hard and processed 4,180 shoes and put together 3,920 Hope Totes. Samaritan’s Feet greatly appreciates all of the work that Truist gave during their time volunteering with us. We look forward to continuing a relationship and culture of service with Truist.
