Helping Families in Philadelphia

We at Samaritan’s Feet have the privilege of partnering with many incredible non-profit organizations across the world. We love hearing about the great work these organizations are doing and being able to come alongside them by providing shoes to those they serve. Recently, we partnered with Families Forward Philadelphia, which provides housing assistance and domestic violence help.

Families Forward operates the largest emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia, including serving single fathers and teenage boys. They take great pride in keeping families together during difficult times, helping them navigate the way back home by offering housing, comfort, support, and hope.

Samaritan’s Feet sent approximately 5,500 pairs of shoes to Families Forward to help give to those they are helping transition into homes. After receiving the shipment, Families Forward Philadelphia said, “We are incredibly grateful for this donation; it will have a meaningful impact on the families we serve.”
